About the Role:
You will be responsible for operating forklifts to move materials and products within the warehouse. Your duties include loading and unloading trucks, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move materials and products safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks and containers
- Manage inventory and stock levels
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Assist in the training of new operators as needed
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (e.g., OSHA-approved)
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Ability to read and understand labels, invoices, and other documents
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
