Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload shipments.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging stock during the receiving and shipping processes.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards to comply with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Follow all company policies regarding hazardous materials and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- License: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counts and documentation.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and warehouse staff.
