Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Inspect forklifts for safety compliance and perform routine maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and organizing stock according to established protocols.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and warehouse housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of shipping orders and palletizing products for distribution.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs comfortably.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
