Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and yard settings
- Conduct daily pre-operation safety inspections and report equipment issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas efficiently
- Assist in warehouse cleanup and organization activities
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime as required
