Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in warehouse and dock environments
- Load/unload shipments with precision and efficiency while adhering to safety protocols
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Manage inventory counts and assist with cycle counting procedures
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow OSHA compliance standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Document all activities accurately in warehouse management systems
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability for overtime shifts
