Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning systems
- Inspect equipment daily for safety compliance and functionality
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize storage and retrieval processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Assist in receiving, sorting, and organizing inventory
- Report maintenance issues and equipment malfunctions promptly
- Support physical inventory counts and cycle counting activities
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial equipment
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Basic math and inventory management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
