Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trailers, railcars, and trucks in strict accordance with safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and documenting stock movements.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Perform routine safety inspections and maintenance checks on all forklift equipment.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize shipping and receiving workflows.
- Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA 10 or equivalent certification required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable forklift experience in a warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control procedures.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for counting and inventory verification.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, if required.
