Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in designated storage areas.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment preparation.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid, unexpired forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50+ lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
