Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, cherry pickers) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure safety compliance and proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging stock according to company protocols.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is organized, clean, and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must be present upon hire).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and equipment handling protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems (RF scanners).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
