Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Load/unload shipments with precision using RF scanners and inventory management systems
- Maintain accurate warehouse inventory through cycle counting and documentation
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Support inventory audits and warehouse cleanliness initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 1+ years of warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
