Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized materials in high-volume warehouse environments
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards at all times
- Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Maintain clean, organized work areas to prevent safety hazards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-approved forklift certification (current or within 6 months)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts in warehouse settings
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management capabilities
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent required
