Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered material handling equipment
- Load/unload shipments and organize inventory in designated zones
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including weekends during peak seasons
- Clean driving record and pre-employment drug screen required
