Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse settings
- Accurately load/untract shipments and maintain inventory records
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics coordination
- Optimize stacking/storage methods to maximize warehouse space utilization
- Maintain clean and organized work areas per 5S standards
- Train junior staff on safe equipment operation procedures
Qualifications
- 2+ years of certified forklift operation experience (sit-down/stand-up)
- Valid Washington state forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in varied temperatures
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Basic inventory management software experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
