Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies to warehouse supervisor
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and conduct pre-shift equipment inspections
- Collaborate with weekend team to optimize warehouse workflow and meet production targets
- Assist in organizing storage areas and maintaining clean, hazard-free workspaces
- Complete required paperwork for material movements and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts in warehouse environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Valid Louisiana driver's license (preferred)
- Availability to work flexible weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
