Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize palletized goods in warehouse environment
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting mechanical issues immediately
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team to optimize loading/unloading processes for weekend shipments
- Complete inventory checks and documentation using warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean, organized work areas to prevent safety hazards
- Support cross-functional teams during peak weekend operational periods
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts in warehouse settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Relliable weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
