Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect equipment daily for safety compliance and report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist in organizing warehouse layouts to maximize space utilization
- Support quality control processes by inspecting goods for damage
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pre-employment background check and drug screening required
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
