Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in compliance with OSHA standards
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with warehouse team to coordinate inventory movements
- Document all transactions and maintain accurate inventory records
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report potential hazards immediately
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Support cross-functional tasks as needed during peak operations
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse or forklift operation experience
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Reliable transportation and consistent weekend availability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
