Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized materials efficiently
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues immediately
- Maintain organized inventory storage systems with precise placement of goods
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols including PPE requirements and load capacity limits
- Collaborate with receiving/shipping teams to optimize weekend workflow
- Complete accurate documentation of material movements and inventory counts
- Support warehouse cleanliness standards through regular area maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year prior forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays consistently (6 AM - 6 PM shifts available)
- Strong attention to detail with ability to follow complex instructions
- Physical stamina to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic computer literacy for inventory system interactions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
