Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload palletized goods efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Organize warehouse storage areas to optimize space utilization
- Assist in receiving shipments and verifying product documentation
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse environments
- Strong attention to safety protocols and hazard awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity targets
- Preferable experience with RF scanners and warehouse software
