Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to move, load, and unload materials
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with OSHA standards
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize inventory flow and meet daily production targets
- Complete accurate documentation of material movements and inventory counts
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent hazards and ensure operational efficiency
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to our K Street NW facility
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 2 PM or 2 PM - 10 PM)
