About the Role
As a Forklift Operator, you'll be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring materials move safely and efficiently. This physically active position requires precision and teamwork to maintain our high standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Load/unload trucks while ensuring proper stacking and securing of goods
- Inspect and maintain equipment to meet safety standards
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting
- Adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 7 days)
- Minimum 1 year forklift operation experience
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Physical stamina to stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), and operate equipment
- Basic math skills for inventory tasks
