Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Ensure all materials are stacked, sorted, and stored safely to prevent damage and accidents.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in proper working order.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and completing required paperwork.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
