Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for any mechanical issues or safety hazards before each shift.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure the workspace is clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklift batteries and tires.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Jacksonville facility.
