Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards (5S standards).
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory software or handheld scanners.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
