Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage inventory using RF scanners and handheld devices to ensure order accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, including wearing PPE, performing daily pre-shift inspections, and reporting hazards immediately.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of debris to prevent accidents and ensure efficient workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to coordinate daily operations and meet production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent schedule.
- License: Valid Driver's License is preferred but not required for the operator role.
