Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas while adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) protocols.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure safety and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Operate RF scanners and handheld devices to update inventory management systems accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping and organizing aisles.
- Collaborate with team leads to resolve any discrepancies in inventory or shipment loads.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts is required.
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts, including holidays.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse management software.
