Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
- Manage inventory control through accurate scanning and documentation of warehouse activities
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations and meet deadlines
- Assist in inventory audits and cycle counting procedures
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures while maintaining a safety-first mindset
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain company-provided certification)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with potential for overtime
