Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload shipments in warehouse environment
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure operational safety and compliance
- Manage inventory documentation and coordinate with warehouse team for efficient operations
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures at all times
- Assist with receiving, stacking, and organizing materials in designated storage areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns to supervisor immediately
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse/logistics setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as required
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
