Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of material handling equipment, including sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Load, unload, and move freight, materials, and products within the warehouse using forklifts and hand trucks.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure the warehouse area remains clean, organized, and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Inspect equipment for damage or malfunctions and report issues to management immediately.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must provide copy).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging inventory.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
