Responsibilities
- Operate electric/pneumatic forklifts to transport materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Perform daily equipment inspections and safety checks per OSHA guidelines
- Maintain accurate inventory logs using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow
- Adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Assist in warehouse organization and dock scheduling
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) and occasional holidays
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
