Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse and dock environments
- Execute precise loading/unloading of trucks and containers with 100% accuracy
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Coordinate inventory management and stock rotation using RF scanners
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet weekend production targets
- Document all material movements and inventory discrepancies
- Actively participate in weekend shifts with optional overtime opportunities
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification required (recently certified accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of recent warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards and material handling
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and documentation
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with overtime availability
- High school diploma or equivalent; CDL license a plus
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
