Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory in warehouse/distribution settings
- Perform daily forklift inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Load/unload trucks with precision while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse organization systems
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency
- Follow OSHA standards and company safety guidelines at all times
- Assist in training new operators on proper equipment usage
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 1+ years of warehouse/forklift experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
