Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts to move materials efficiently in warehouse environment
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for streamlined loading/unloading
- Optimize storage layouts to maximize warehouse capacity
- Support inventory audits and cycle count procedures
- Maintain clean, organized workstations per 5S standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
