Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
- Load/unload trucks and containers following strict protocols for weight distribution and security
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of material movements
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Participate in regular safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse or logistics setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license preferred
