Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize pallets in warehouse racking systems
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company material handling procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading workflows
- Train new hires on safe forklift operation and warehouse navigation
- Support month-end inventory audits with precise documentation
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of recent warehouse/forklift experience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness for inventory management
- Basic computer literacy for WMS data entry
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
