Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse setting
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Accurately inventory and organize products using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized work areas
- Participate in cross-training for warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, etc.)
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns to supervisor immediately
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain through our training program
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse or forklift operation experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory management and shipping documentation
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes
