Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts to move palletized materials
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Manage inventory counts and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Maintain clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work zones
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily productivity goals
- Adhere to all safety protocols including PPE usage and lockout/tagout procedures
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks using proper material handling techniques
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license (required) and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to complete paid forklift certification training
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transportation to our Northwest San Antonio facility
