Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up) to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and yard settings
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Manage inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet delivery deadlines
- Accurately complete paperwork for inventory and material movement
- Train new team members on safety protocols and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse/forklift operations
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Positive attitude and commitment to team collaboration
- Reliable transportation to our Indianapolis facility
