Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts to move materials efficiently within warehouse facilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanning technology
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including OSHA compliance and equipment inspection
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report operational issues promptly
- Support inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
- Train new operators on warehouse procedures and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (training provided if uncertified)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including overtime and weekend shifts
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid driver's license required
