Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Sit-down, Reach, and Order Picker) to move, locate, and stack inventory with precision and efficiency.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and maintenance checks on all forklift equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Load and unload trailers and trucks safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure fastening of cargo.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanners.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and fulfillment of customer demands.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
