Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts to move, locate, and place merchandise.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory to ensure proper organization and accountability.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment with precision and speed to meet daily productivity targets.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies; perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections.
- Load & Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks using proper loading docks and safety equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and report any discrepancies or damaged goods immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification: Must possess a current, valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
