Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse environments
- Load/unload trucks and containers using proper material handling techniques
- Perform daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols
- Assist in warehouse organization and space utilization
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid Illinois state ID
