Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to transport materials throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks in accordance with shipping diagrams and safety protocols.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock counting and verifying incoming shipments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of material movements and time logs.
- Ensure strict adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator License (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
