Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and heavy machinery in compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack products onto pallets with high accuracy to prevent damage.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock movements.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to optimize workflow.
- Housekeeping: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Documentation: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and precision in handling goods.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts including weekends if needed.
