Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move products within the warehouse.
- Load and Unload Vehicles: Efficiently load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stock organization, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Material Preparation: Prepare pallets for shipping and ensure all packaging meets quality standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep workstations and aisles clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Entry Level Friendly: No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift Certification: Current forklift certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documents.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
