Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently at all times.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and utilize scanning systems effectively.
- Inspect equipment for defects and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Strictly follow all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse workflows.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating stand-up or sit-down forklifts.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
