Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by scanning barcodes and updating inventory logs.
- Packaging & Shipping: Properly package products for shipment, ensuring all safety regulations and quality standards are met.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a productive environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Licensing: Valid forklift certification is a plus but not required (training provided).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and attention to detail are essential.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable mode of transportation and pass a background check.
