Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory records through systematic scanning and documentation
- Inspect and perform daily equipment safety checks to ensure OSHA compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report equipment malfunctions immediately
- Support warehouse organization through systematic stacking and pallet management
- Participate in quarterly safety training and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional weekends
