Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse safely.
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Verify inventory counts against shipping documents and reconcile discrepancies.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Organize stockpiles and ensure warehouse aisles remain clear for efficient traffic flow.
- Assist in packing, labeling, and preparing shipments for outbound delivery.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding daily goals and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
