As a Forklift Operator at Apex Logistics, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Verify inventory counts and document stock movements accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Follow all company safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
